About Us

Founded in Stockholm in the summer of 2010, Campanja has been striving to create a scalable global solution for today’s online advertisers capable of delivering real results in the competitive search marketing industry. When Google made changes to its AdWords API fees, virtually eliminating the restrictive costs of API calls, it was a game changer. Unlike any company in the search space, Campanja software was built with a philosophy that more data is better and real-time optimization would be the only way to maximize return on advertising spend.

Google board member and founding investor, Ram Shriram and MySQL founder, David Axmark were among the first to see our vision and invest in the company. They were followed by leading European venture capital firms Hoxton Ventures and DFJ Esprit, and DFJ.

In 2012, the Campanja team began growing to include a world-class team of AI scientists, developers, and paid search experts. Today, Campanja has 42 employees with customers in the U.S., Europe and Middle East.

Our U.S. headquarters are in Palo Alto, CA and our European headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden with new offices in London and New York opening in 2014.

Enterprise Sales Executive – EMEA (German Speaking) London

We are currently hiring an Enterprise Sales Executive that will be based in central London reporting to the VP Sales EMEA. The German speaking individual will be responsible for cultivating long-term strategic partnerships and sales primarily in the UK and German markets to begin with. You will have a proven excellent sales record in similar roles and be expected to meet or exceed acquisition goals by planning and executing successful sales strategies to acquire large online advertisers and brands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for sales, pipeline development, and opportunity planning to exceed customer acquisition goals.
  • Strong experience pitching and closing media technology to senior marketing contacts.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new opportunities in the marketing departments of large brands in the UK and Germany with the potential to expand into more countries across EMEA.
  • Develop and deliver custom sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Capture all sales activities in Salesforce and use lead generation systems to build out your prospect base.
  • Represent Campanja with client relationships and at industry events.
  • Participate in product strategy definition with the Product team.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A well-established network of advertisers and brands, preferably in the German and UK market.

Product Manager Stockholm, Sweden

We are currently seeking a Product Manager that will be based in Stockholm and report to the VP of Engineering. We are looking for an individual who has a deep technical understanding of what it takes to take product ideas through execution by working closely with different internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to drive the entire development lifecycle and lead product evolution from concept to launch.

The candidate must have a natural ability to simplify complex and technical concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts in order to release high-quality products. They bring a strategic perspective to projects as well as contribute hands-on in order to get things done.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and build consensus across multiple departments in creating the software product roadmap.
  • Help define the core product vision, goals, functionality and requirements.
  • Collaborate with user experience experts, designers, engineers and clients to reach the best possible version of a feature or product to bring to market.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs and product documentation such product requirement docs, user stories, and use cases.
  • Prioritize development activities with engineering teams, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches.

Senior Engineer with DevOps Focus Stockholm, Sweden

In our continuous effort to build a soft real-time platform to meet the demands of tomorrow's marketing, we are expanding our team. As a Senior Engineer with DevOps focus you will be part of our scrum team and work on a variety of problems related to scaling and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

You know how a Linux box runs like the back of your hand and you've debugged every part of the stack making up an Internet service; networks, servers, protocols, operating systems, services, databases, disks - nothing is impenetrable to you. You embrace the DevOps philosophy of infrastructure as code and subscribe to the idea that modern operations engineering is all about automating systems administration tasks rather than performing them.

Desired skills:

  • Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
  • Running testing and production setups in Amazon EC2.
  • Experience building with Hadoop or similar Map/Reduce frameworks.
  • Experience operating databases like SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (HBase, Riak, CouchDB).
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language (i.e. Ruby/Python/Perl).
